NUMAN BASAGA

Director of Construction/Civil Works Numan has over 30years experience in the construction industry . He started his first construction project was Cooperative Housing Construction (350 apartments) for Black Sea Copper workers in 1989 with Koseoglu Construction Company Ankara Turkey. He spent 22 years working with MNG Holdings where he was at the fore front of constructing major facilities including Totas 5 Star Hotel in Antalya, 42 floors Turkey Central Bank , 7500 prefabricated housing units for the Ministry of Tourism , Bolu,Turkey. He also played a key role at MAPA Construction where he spearheaded the successful Construction of Kotoka International Airport,Terminal 3, Accra. He is now managing and directing the Modern planners and Construction Ltd affairs.

PROSPER ZUGLO

Director of Survey Prosper is an experienced Civil Engineer who first began his career with Krane Construction, and other construction firms in Ghana and has progressed through all site-based roles.  He has specialized training in surveying works on private and public projects planning and execution. Prosper is a Civil Engineer with over 9 years’ experience in engineering studies, design, construction supervision and projects surveyor. He is a good building practitioner with excellent communication skills, ethically minded and hardworking and uses these traits to help customers and clients achieve their desired outcomes.

BRIGHT EDEM OWUSU-ABABIO

Director of Projects Edem has been part of the construction industry for over 8 years. He completed HND Civil Engineering and Construction Management. Early in his career, Edem worked in a number of different roles within the construction industry, gaining a broad knowledge in the positions he held. Edem spent 3 years working with Manet Group, Clifton Homes (Versailies Decor), Nesstra Construction/MAPA and Managed C.T QUAYE Construction. He is currently steering the affairs of MODERN PLANNERS & CONSTRUCTION Ltd. His construction experience includes, property development, commercial projects such as airport terminal 3, Hospitals, Real-States, Residential, Hotels, Restaurants, High-rise Apartments, Warehouses, Swimming pools, etc.

ANDRIANA SOTO AMOAKO

PROJECT ARCHITECT Andriana is most influential Architect. Her list of clients & design expertise is unparalleled. Renowned for her contagious with brilliant sense of style, her designs appeal to both young & old which sit well in both contemporary & traditional designs.  She is the Project Architect at Modern Planners.    Andriana is a graduate from Central University, Ghana (Miosto) with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Project Management Professional (PMP) trained from Cambridge Centre of Excellence (British Council). She additionally offers her expertise as a member of the project committee for the St. Bakhita Catholic Church Council.

Hussein Chalabi

Director of Mechanical, Electrical & PLUMBING (MEP) Hussein has 15 years of experience in the Engineering and Construction
field. He holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering (Power & Control) and
has the following certifications: Dialux, Pspice, Etap Certification, Carrier
(VAC) Certification, BMS-Delta Control Certification, Project Management
Professional, and Communication & Risk Management. His previous job
positions include Senior Chief Engineer and MEP Projects Manager at
Clifton Homes , Projects Manager at Shahin and IEC Ghana Ltd., MEP
Coordinator Engineer at Barakat Contracting in Lebanon, Electrical
Automation Engineer at North Corp. in UAE. He is a results oriented
individual with logical and methodical approach to achieving tasks and
objectives. His knowledge, expertise, and skills has made him a great
Director of Modern Planners & and Construction and also the Head of
Mechanical & Engineering Services (MES) Ltd.

NANA AKUA V. OWUSU

HEAD OF ADMINSTRATION Nana Akua has an MSc in clinical communication in addition to a certificate in Office Management from Scheidecker School of Office Management.  Her work in disability and role as a member of the Technical Committee to review the Disability Act (715) in Ghana has endeared her to disability inclusion and the need to build resilient infrastructure for human settlements to be safe, inclusive and sustainable.   She has a strong background in managing and providing oversight guidance to the development of processes relating to the smooth and effective running of an organisation.   Her previous experience includes over ten years as a Development Officer and Administrator in various organizations in the UK. She Coordinate with various departments to bid for processes and maintain track of all project schedule and ensure compliance to all timeframe for Modern Planners and also has a keen eye for professionalism and integrity in the business and enjoys training in effective communication as well as ensuring appropriate systems are in place for effective and efficient delivery of service.

OISIN MURRAY

Managing Director Oisin has over 18 years experience in senior management within the
military, Oil & Gas and construction industries. Previously, he was Head of
Construction Operations for Clifton Homes and has vast experience in the
building sector in Accra, Ghana. He holds an Msc. in Business
Administration and is an expert in the field of management and leadership.
He has experience in personnel management, training and operational
roles (both civilian and military) and has developed a reputation for
priority setting and problem solving. He is results driven and aims to
always ensure that the company adds value to the client and achieves its
targets on time and within budget

SIMON BOATEY DJAKWAH

Director, Commercial Services Simon has been involved in the construction industry for over 10 years.   He has extensive experience in Quantity Surveying and holds a Bachelor of Building Technology qualification. He is a member Ghana Institute of Surveyors (GhIS).  Prior to his involvement with MPC, Simon has worked with numerous construction companies in Ghana. He is the Senior Quantity Surveyor with Modern Planners and his involvement with the company has led to great achievements. Simon is involved in pricing all manner of residential, commercial and industrial projects. His systematic approach and attention to detail make him a valued member of our team.

ERIC OSEI COFFIE

Health And Safety Manager Eric is an experienced Health and Safety Practitioner with over 7 years
practical working experience within the construction industry. He has
been involved in major complex projects such as KIA Terminal 3 and
Accra Mall Expansion Projects. His vast knowledge in Regulatory and
Safety Compliance makes him an outsanding and valuable member of the
team. Before joining the team he had worked with Companies such as
Nesstra Ghana Limited and WBHO Construction Limited.

CHRISTABEL O. TORGBOR

HEAD OF OPERATIONS Christabel has been in the aviation industry for over 10 years and began her career with Ghana Airports Company Ltd. (GACL). She combines construction background with multi-industry experiences as head of operations to bring a fresh and practical approach in managing Modern Planner’s general operations. Although she holds Bachelor’s degree in Public relations, her involvement with MPC has made her gain knowledge and strength to meet project budgets through assessing and analyzing operational and financial risks that may be encountered in the execution of planned construction projects. She also advises the company in making decisions that are viable.

ABDUL FATAWU BAMBA

Head of Finance Ing. Yeboah is a well-rounded professional. He was Snr Consultant, AESL, Ghana and a corporate member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers. He has 23 years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering, mainly in the design and construction supervision of multi-storey reinforced concrete structures, drainage infrastructure, and water supply systems. He has skills in the preparation of technical and financial proposals. He is also versatile in the modeling of high-rise building in 3D’s using Staad for Analysis and Design. He also served as the project coordinator for a number of civil engineering projects such as small-scale irrigation dams in the northern and upper west regions of Ghana under the Village Infrastructure (VIP) and water development at the Kotoka International Airport.  Ing. Yeboah has vast experience of working with international organizations such as World Bank Projects. He is a Principal Partner and a Board member of Modern Planners.

ALEXI AMOA

Head of Marketing/Sales Alexi has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Marketing
from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He has worked in both the Civil/
Construction Engineering fields and Corporate Marketing for the past 10
years. As a Marketing Coordinator at Henkel Corporation, he helped
conceptualize and implement strategies for marketing campaigns. He’s
worked in the Construction field on projects including a subway tunnel in
New York City where he assisted the Geotechnical team on soil monitoring.
He also has extensive experience in Project Management for buildings,
providing Construction Risk Management services to financial institutions
and property developers, and performing Property Conditions Assessments
on both residential and commercial buildings. He now heads the Sales and
Marketing Departments at Modern Planners.
